Commentary

The aim of this Chapter is: To explain about Allah Almighty and His all Epithets, that is to say; He is One. He has neither any associate nor any partner. All creatures like animals, birds, beasts (of prey or other), cattle, demons, mankind, Angels, Prophets, Saints, Spiritual Guides and Messengers (peace be upon Them) etc. the entire creatures are His servants. None of them can do something without His Command. You should worship none but Him only. Ask or pray not for a boon from any creature, nor seek any other for help except Allah Almighty. In this regard, this Chapter (Surah) is an Explanation of Surah 1- ‘Al-Faatihah (The Opening) and Surah  112 - ‘Ikhlaas (The Unity). That, which has been described briefly in those both Chapters, has been explained clearly in this Chapter.

Every mention, every event and even that every sentence/verse of this Chapter keeps this aim in front that God Almighty is One. The entire Powers and Authorities are only of Him. And the entire things, whether those are biggest, are worthless before His Greatness and Magnificence.

It is commanded that Allah Almighty is the Omnipotent and Excelling over His slaves (all creatures). Whether a mankind has any greatest dignity, anyhow he is His servant. The Angels, Prophet Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon Them) are also Servants of Allah Almighty and helpless before Him. He commands, and it is the only duty of the Servants to obey His Commands. They take just pride in being His Servants.

This Promise has been mentioned very clearly in 2nd Kalimah “The Word of Testimony” that “I bear witness that (there is) no god except Allah; One is He, no partner hath He, and I bear witness that Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) is His Servant and Messenger”. Think a little, then who can be greater than the Last Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him), who turn away from being His servant? If someone says, “Who is witness of your this claim?” Ask him, “Who can be biggest witness in your opinion”? Common sense replies: That can be the Biggest Witness, Who is Aware and Knower of the reality of everything. And none has this excellence except Allah Almighty, so He is the Witness between Me and you.
