Commentary
When
God Almighty caused to hear Mary (peace be upon her) the glad tidings about the
birth of Jesus (peace be upon him) care of an Angel (peace be upon him), she
astonished and thought, “Wonderful; how it can be? No man has touched me so
far. How the birth of a child would be possible?” Allah Almighty commanded,
“There is no surprising thing in it. Allah creates what He will. He is not
indigent of apparent causes. When He determines to do something, He says unto
it only; Be! And it is”.
This
verse manifests the extent of the Divine Power of Allah Almighty. He is The
Cause of causes, creates the cause for each work Himself. He created the earth,
the heavens and the entire things of the universe. He created one above the one
thing. How can He be necessitous of causes and sources?
God
Almighty has framed laws to run the system of universe as; the water quenches
the thirst, the hand burns whenever someone puts it into the fire, the human
being is lost when his heart beat stops, children will be born with the
copulation of male and female. These entire things appear in accord with
ordinary manner. As per idiomatic meaning, these are called ‘Laws of
Producing’. That is to say; if any cause happens, then any result of it comes
out.
In
this regard, observation of the mankind has become so matured that he discovers
cause of each result and produces cause to accomplish each result. He becomes
thunderstruck upon any happening, if he does not find its natural or external
cause.
In this verse, Allah Almighty has fixed that this
observation of the human being is false. It has been searched out that
existence of the causes has been set up only for the satisfaction of the mankind.
Every thing is possible before the extent of the Divine Power. Only making a
signal by Allah Almighty is sufficient for completion of any work. Therefore,
He commanded, “when I devise any thing, I make a signal of ‘KUN’ (Be) only unto it. So, that work is
completed (And it is). I am not needy of apparent causes”.
